Everyday, women and girls around the world are subjected to human rights abuses because they are female. These abuses are related to health, freedom and safety at work, in the home or community and in conflict situations.

Fundamentally, women’s human rights are about equality.

Join Amnesty International’s Toronto Chapter for the Action Network on Women’s Human Rights (ANWHR) to help end human rights violations against women.

ANWHR meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month except August and December. Meetings are held at the Amnesty International Toronto Office (AITO).
